We Started With One Truck and a Simple Promise

Septiclear Inc. was born out of a straightforward idea: Oregon homeowners and businesses deserved a septic service company they could actually trust. No vague pricing, no rushed visits, no “pump and run” approach that leaves problems undiagnosed until they become emergencies.

We started right here in Portland with a single pump truck, a small crew of licensed technicians, and a focus on one thing – septic tank pumping done right. That meant showing up on time, working clean, leaving every property in better shape than we found it, and handing every customer a written service report before we drove away. It sounds simple because it is. But in a trade where corner-cutting is common, doing the basics exceptionally well turned out to be a real differentiator.

Word spread fast across Portland and the surrounding communities. Neighbors told neighbors. Property managers called back. And before long, the phone was ringing with requests for services beyond pumping.

Growing Into a Full-Service Septic Company

As our customer base grew, so did the trust they placed in us. That trust came with responsibility. Homeowners who had us pump their tanks started asking: “Can you also inspect the system before we sell the house?” Commercial clients wanted scheduled maintenance plans, not just a call when something went wrong. Rural property owners in the Willamette Valley needed help designing and permitting new systems from scratch.

We answered every one of those calls.

We expanded our team, invested in professional-grade equipment, and added services one by one – each one earned by the demand of customers who already believed in the way we work. Today, Septiclear Inc. offers the full range of septic services across Oregon: from routine maintenance and inspections to emergency response, drain field repair, system installation, and everything in between.

What We Do

Septic Tank Pumping remains our core service and the foundation everything else is built on. Residential, commercial, and emergency pumping – with a full interior inspection and written report on every visit.

Septic System Inspections give homeowners and buyers a clear picture of system health. We offer pre-purchase inspections, routine annual inspections, and CCTV camera pipe inspections that see exactly what’s happening inside your lines.

Emergency Septic Services are available 24 hours a day. Sewage backups, post-flood inspections, and urgent system failures don’t wait for business hours – and neither do we.

Septic System Installation covers conventional gravity-fed systems, alternative configurations, and pressure distribution setups. Every installation follows Oregon DEQ standards and local health department requirements.

Septic System Replacement and Repair handle everything from a failed pump to a full system overhaul. We offer trenchless sewer line repair, tank replacement, and alternative system upgrades that modernize aging infrastructure.

Drain Field Services address one of the most costly and commonly misunderstood parts of any septic system. We repair, replace, hydro-jet, and remediate drain fields – and we catch early warning signs during routine pumping visits so small issues don’t become catastrophic ones.

Septic Maintenance and Cleaning keeps systems compliant and functional year after year. Our routine maintenance plans take the guesswork out of scheduling, and our effluent filter service protects your drain field between pump visits.

Septic System Design and Permitting supports new construction and property improvements from the ground up. We conduct soil percolation testing, develop system design plans, and handle permit applications so you can build with confidence.

Oregon Roots, Oregon Standards

We are a Portland-based company serving communities across Oregon – from the metro area to rural and suburban properties throughout the state. Oregon’s landscape, soil types, and environmental regulations are what we know best. We work in full compliance with Oregon DEQ guidelines and local county health department requirements, and we take seriously our responsibility to protect the groundwater and natural systems that make this state worth living in.

Our team is fully licensed, insured, and certified. We use professional-grade equipment and trusted industry brands on every job. We don’t subcontract core services, and we don’t cut corners on disposal – all wastewater and effluent we remove is transported to approved facilities following state and local regulations.

The Same People, the Same Standards

What hasn’t changed since that first pump truck pulled out of Portland is the standard we hold ourselves to. Every technician on our crew is trained to do more than run a vacuum hose. They inspect, document, communicate, and treat every property with care. Whether we’re servicing a single-family home in Southeast Portland or a commercial property in the Willamette Valley, the level of professionalism is the same.

We believe that a well-maintained septic system is a quiet, invisible thing – one that never causes stress, never surprises you with an emergency, and never becomes a problem. Our job is to keep it that way.
